Description: A fantastically beautiful, flat, 1697 m2 of land with direct beach access. Good access, road impetus exists.  Playa Uvita is among the most beautiful beaches on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. In the southern province of Puntarenas beach 16 km south of Playa Dominical. Playa Uvita is a very popular Surferort. The golden beach is inmmitten Ballena National Park. This marine national park is very popular, as are between December and April, humpback whales come here - on their way to the north a popular stopover for marine mammals.  The beach is open all year, consists of a very wide strip of golden sand, moderate waves and crystal clear water. Since this beach is a National Park Marino Ballena is hunting and fishing are prohibited, but the ideal Wasseraktiviäten are here: surfing, diving, sunbathing, horseback riding, snorkeling.  Playa Uvita is relatively quiet beach with few tourists. Very relaxing and quiet, the village of Bahia, about 3 km south of Uvita village, along the road and then leave right after the bridge. The beautiful sweeping white beaches of Playa Ballena, Playa Uvita invite you to linger for a few days. Here you will find lots of rest.  The Arrival  San José, it is best to take a bus to Quepos, Dominical and San Isidro de El General, which departs from the airport. From here you can then go to another bus to Uvita. Similarly, buses from Puntarenas directly to Uvita. An alternative would be to travel by plane to Palmar Sur airport. Sansa and Nature Air fly here every day.
